Research labs are well funded to do research compared to before. In the end, I think we're mixing things up here.
@mihirjprakash@mitul_garg_ I think you're forgetting that these corporations specifically allocate resources for RnD. And it makes sense for them to think of profit because otherwise it'll never be sustainable. It depends on the field and I feel like there's more nuance there.

To facilitate these, distribution is key.
That's where I feel corporations come in handy.
