La politique s'est immiscée au cœur du jeu, alors que la FIFA dit vouloir le mettre au-dessus de tout : visiblement, C'EST JUSQU'À UN CERTAIN POINT.

Une Coupe du monde qui aura aussi vu tous ses matches se disputer en quatre quart-temps et sa finale connaître une mi-temps de près de 30 minutes...

Before #FIFA start pumping the propaganda tonight and telling us all how amazing this #WorldCup has been, let’s remember they oversaw:

- highest ticket prices ever and took a cut from resale sites.

- did nothing about Somalian referee and dozens of staff who were banned from entering the US for no legitimate reason.

- stood by as Iran were forced to train outside the US and travel in on match days.

- overturned red cards after phone calls with the president.

- Americanised the beautiful game with hydration (TV) breaks and 25 mins half time in the final

- guided Argentina through the tournament with less travel, VAR support and blatantly turning a blind due to their aggression and foul play.

Han maltratado a Irán con un trato desigual durante todo el torneo, donde debían entrar y salir cada día que jugaban en Estados Unidos.

Han permitido la expulsión del mejor árbitro africano, Omar Artan, por supuestos vínculos terroristas no demostrados.

Han limitado el papel de México y Canadá en el Mundial con solo 13 partidos en sus países por los 78 de Estados Unidos.

Han convertido el fútbol en un producto de lujo con unos precios vergonzosos.

Han aumentado el número de equipos para disparar sus ingresos por derechos televisivos, no por el espectáculo, la calidad o por dar más oportunidades.

Han destrozado el Mundial de 2030 con partidos en 7 países de 3 continentes distintos.

1) can't possibly intervene when Iran are forced to move, a referee is denied a visa, or fans are barred from the USA
