Actor vijay whose total asset value is 600cr has invested 100cr in a bank FD... which is 17% of his total assets.

I really dont know who gave such a poor investment suggestion... Assuming an average 6.5% interest rate this 100cr would generate 6.5cr as annual income. After adjusting for 3% inflation, the real return is just 3.5%.

Instead, from that 100cr 50% of the amount 50cr could have been invested in govt bonds, debt funds or with a slightly higher risk appetite in direct MF.

If i had that 100cr i would invest 50 cr in a hybrid fund & activate an swp to generate a steady monthly income... allowing me to enjoy life comfortably while still benefiting from better long term growth.

I have waited many years for a day like today. To tell you how I got this opportunity it started with a sudden call from an unknown number offering me a role in a @dirmmanikandan film. I couldn’t believe it! I was busy anchoring at the time and had to confirm two or three times to be sure. After a Zoom meeting, it finally sank in that I was going to be part of this project.
The Director called me to Usilampatti for the first look, where I was completely transformed into a local, regional character. Like everyone else, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the iconic @VijaySethuOffl and #Manikandan combo. I play a character named #Lalita, and I want to say a huge thank you to both #VijaySethupathi sir and #Manikandan sir.
