PLI should recognise performance while ensuring that the contribution of every cadre is fairly valued and equitably rewarded.

And 5-Day Banking is not about working less—it is about working smarter. It means better work-life balance, improved employee well-being and a more productive, motivated workforce, while continuing to serve customers effectively.

We are not asking for special treatment.

We are asking for fairness in rewards and progress in working conditions.

A stronger banking workforce means a stronger banking system.
