For #NationalTreeDay of @PlanetArk , our young girls and ladies took part in the tree planting initiative in suburbs of Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and various areas in Queensland. Planting trees is akin to acts of charity in Islam.

#LajnaQld held their 4th Annual Regional Ijtema (Religous Educational Competitions). They also came together to share their personally written poetry in both English and Urdu, Nasirat and #LajnaQld members took part in this enlightening and enjoyable event of “Mushairah”.

Imam Atif Zahid addressed the Interfaith Symposium organised by the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Our members also participated in preparing birth kits for women in developing countries.
