They are super mad that people are sharing files of their work, but when I try to create some mechanism to let people know that they don't want files of their work shared, they still get mad.

& because some of us were REALLY uncomfortable with some of them comparing sharing fics to rape. So, we want to block/mute for all of our peace of mind. But somehow that’s bad?
What do they want??
We are trying to do as they ask & we are being mocked, accused & harassed over it

@elanasrage @Msj07judith Along with the headcanon of him being an abused sex worker, I headcanon him as dying young. It was the 70s. He was a flamboyant queer man of color & a sex worker. The odds are NOT in his favor. Plus his bratty attitude. I headcanon him as 19 or 20. Makes even interesting & sadder

@iiconoclasm_ @_echoex Not only that. But when all of those threating to delete their fics or when say that they don’t want readers that download and share their fics to interact with them, are asked what their AO3 name is, so that they can have their wishes respected, they do not answer.

@r4inncandy @ego_renegade Yep, same here. I have a hobby that requires OLD records. So, I can access them pretty easily. Some of they have copied & put online for all access. Some you do need to make an appointment cause the records are VERY fragile & old. But they will still make a copy, no problem.
