Said my last farewell to my friend Eric Haydock bassist and founder member of The Hollies last week at a semi private ceremony in Manchester. A fitting service and eulogies from his two sons Robert & Jim to a chapel packed with many well known faces was comforting. R.I.P Eric

Those attending please be advised that the chapel is very small so you will probably have to stand outside. RIP Eric.

With great sadness I have to report that my friend and founder member of the Hollies, bassist Eric Haydock, passed away yesterday. He was found sitting in his chair in front of his TV and the early indications are that he passed peacefully. R.I.P. Eric.
