@BradeauxNBA I don’t think we even need that many 3&d guys. I think our defense would be fine if we add someone to the bench who can dribble and shoot. The passes are gonna be so easy for him cause he’s gonna get swarmed. I don’t think we have any defenders worse than average on the team rn
I think people are failing to factor in that it takes time to get to this point, especially with two big names/contracts to move off from like Laremy Tunsil & Tytus Howard.
Also NC drafting WZ under Slowik for the first time & now transition back to more gap scheme should be factored in as well.
@SR_TheInscriber@RobertStock6 Incredibly dangerous entirely incidental contact getting taken of the sport isn’t pussifying it, it’s just not being dumb. This isn’t like getting rid of collisions at home, that created an advantage, all this does is get guys hurt.
Remember that first base is the only spot on the field where it’s always an automatic force play rather than a tag play. Adding a safety bag doesn’t change the gameplay at 1B like the Posey Rule at home, or like the prohibition on launching middle infielders into left field like Hal McRae and Pete Rose used to do.
If a safety bag at 1B would result in a non-zero reduction in collisions, what’s the legitimate argument against it?
