Always a pleasure to visit an incredible colony of 23 pairs of #swifts deep in Fermanagh countryside. Cameras in every box and all footage recorded means nothing is missed.
Objective: 52 chicks to be ringed!

Best thing was finding a juv house martin happily sat in a swift nest!

Increased aerial swift activity in Cheltenham over the past couple of weeks - probably a combination of good weather, higher insect activity, and first year birds supplementing the colonies. Some birds now fledging from nest sites. What have you noticed? #GlosBirds #swifts
