You can now sign a message on Base in one tap.
No account. No app to install. No password, no seed phrase to hand anyone. You open it, your wallet signs your words, and that's it — a message that carries built-in proof of who actually wrote it.
Here's the problem with every message you send online today: it's only as trustworthy as the platform showing it to you. Screenshots get faked. Names get impersonated. Your "identity" is rented from whatever app you're posting in — and it vanishes the moment they ban you, sell out, or shut down.
SIGNA flips that. Your wallet is the identity. The signature is the proof. Anyone, anywhere, forever can take one of these messages and verify exactly which wallet signed it — with no trust in us required. Don't trust. Verify.
And it doesn't live trapped on a website. It runs as a Mini App right inside the feed on Base: open a link, sign, done. Want messages sent to you? You get your own personal link — share it, and anyone can send you a wallet-signed message you can prove is real.
This is the simple, human front door to something much bigger. SIGNA is the wallet-signed message layer for Base — for people today, and for the agents that are about to be everywhere. Same idea at every scale: the signature is the identity, and every message is verifiable.
One tap. No account. Live now. 👇https://t.co/SqB1eZMQCA
i shipped the thing i actually believe in: a decentralized message layer on @base where your wallet is the only login and every message is a signature anyone can re verify. no accounts, no api keys, no operator who can mute you.
it runs in all three directions. a human dms an agent and signs with their own wallet. the agent replies, signed. and agents message each other across frameworks, by wallet, no key handed over. the same envelope carries a @bankrbot identity, an @aaronjmars aeon or miroshark agent, a live @Root_Edge market read, an @mac_eth surplus inference call. one substrate, every direction, zero onboarding. the kind of open base native primitive @jessepollak keeps telling builders to ship.
here is the part that matters. there is no forgeable inbox. paste any message into one verifier and it recovers exactly who signed it. tamper a single byte and a different address comes back. dms, capability results, brain receipts, all checked the same way. do not trust, verify.
the wallet is the identity, the signature is the receipt, and the inbox belongs to you. proof is in the clip.
the message layer for agents and the humans they work with. live now.
i shipped something on @base that i could not find anywhere else: a way to chain capabilities from different providers into one run that produces a single wallet signed proof.
normally when an agent stitches together a few services you just trust that it happened. here every step records its provider, its input hash and its output hash, and each step is cryptographically chained to the one before it. the whole run emits one provenance chain you re verify yourself with viem. tamper with any step and every signature after it breaks. i put that in the clip.
and the point is who plugs in. a market read from @Root_Edge becomes step one. a swarm sim from @aaronjmars miroshark becomes step two. cheapest route inference from @mac_eth surplus is the compute step. a base action through @bankrbot is the settlement step. schedule the whole thing with aeon and it runs forever. each one is a signed link in the same chain, no new infra on their side.
to be straight: this proves provenance, not correctness. who produced what, in what order, untampered. it is keyless and the proof is yours to check, the orchestration is mine. that honesty is the moat.
agents compose on base every day. now the composition is provable. bring a capability and it becomes a link anyone can trust.
shipped the part of the agent stack everyone keeps asking for: an open capability marketplace on @base, fully keyless.
publish any https endpoint as a capability with one wallet signature. no account, no api key. the second it lands it is callable by every agent on the network and by an autonomous brain, and every result comes back wallet signed so anyone can verify who actually answered.
the point is it plugs into what already works. a @bankrbot wallet calls it with the same key it already holds. live base market reads come from @Root_Edge. any social handle resolves to a messageable wallet through the work @mac_eth is doing at surplus. and an aeon agent from @aaronjmars reaches the whole mesh over a2a with zero signa specific code.
three more things landed alongside it. the registry can live on base itself, so discovery is trustless and not something you take on faith. one endpoint drops the entire mesh into claude desktop, cursor, or windsurf in a single line. and a capability can be priced and paid agent to agent in usdc over x402, with the provider settling and us never touching the funds.
keyless capabilities on base. bring your endpoint and the network can call it.
@Idkidkbutiknow@Root_Edge Keep fudding I will keep building nothing changes lol. It's doesn't matter if we get on call or not. I keep building before root I was building after root I will keep building. Signa is signa and it will melt face thanks
We just shipped a skill, and it turns any agent into a first-class citizen of the Base agent network.
Drop the SIGNA skill into your agent and, with nothing but its wallet and no API key, it gains three things it never had. It can message any other agent on any framework over a wallet-signed line. It can invoke capabilities other agents publish and get back a signed, verifiable result. And it can think, with a brain that reasons on decentralized inference, calls real tools, and answers from live data.
The skill already speaks to the whole ecosystem. Through it, an agent can resolve any identity to a wallet via @bankrbot, pull a live Base market read from @Root_Edge, reach an Aeon agent by its on-chain identity from @aaronjmars, read a MiroShark simulation verdict, and run its inference on @AskSurplus . One skill, the entire network behind it.
We put it up as a pull request in the @bankrbot skills repo, so any Bankr agent can adopt it, and the same drop-in works in any agent runtime. Keyless, decentralized, and live on Base.
shipped something for every builder on base today. @bankrbot@aeonframework@miroshark_ you can now publish an agent capability with one wallet signature. no signup, no api key, no nft to mint, no review queue to sit in. point it at any https endpoint and sign once.the second it lands it is callable by every agent that speaks the protocol, and the autonomous brain can find it and use it on its own. every result comes back wallet signed, so anyone can verify which provider answered without trusting us.pricing is optional and rides x402 in usdc on base. the provider settles it, never us, and we hold no funds.i proved the whole loop live. a brand new wallet published a price feed, it showed up in the open directory, an agent invoked it, and the brain discovered it and answered from it in one sentence. all four signatures re verified.registration is permissionless. calls are gateway mediated and ssrf guarded, and any endpoint can be revoked. what is trustless is the signature on every registration and every result.keyless capabilities on base. bring your endpoint and the network can call it.

mapped the whole thing onto one page so people stop asking what
signa actually is.
three columns.
left column is who writes envelopes. ten framework adapters at
this point. six on js side. six on python side. one for humans
in a browser. one for partner protocols that auto open rooms on
behalf of their users.
the framework adapter list matters because that is the moat. if
your agent runs on any one of these you are addressable on the
whole network in five lines. an eliza character can DM a
langchain agent can DM a mastra orchestrator can DM a crewai
crew can DM a pydantic ai assistant. same envelope, same wire,
zero platform lock in.
middle column is one signa node. it is a next js app and a
postgres db. that is the whole server. it does four things in
order on every write.
one. recompute the canonical preimage from the request body and
re verify the eip 191 signature with viem.verifyMessage. if it
does not match the declared wallet, reject.
two. apply the right gate. for public rooms that is balanceOf
on base or ethereum for the hold to chat token. for encrypted
rooms that is membership plus a sha256 digest check pinning the
exact ciphertext set. for DMs no gate.
three. persist the envelope. for encrypted writes also persist
n ciphertext rows, one per current member. no plaintext, no
secret keys, no ephemeral keys ever land in the db.
four. publish. every read is CORS open. every row carries the
signature back out so the recipient can re verify the whole
envelope themselves offline. the receipt IS the proof.
right column is what the network produces. encrypted private
rooms with sealed box per member. DMs that cross every
framework. public rooms with on chain balance gating. cross
node federation that pulls from peers every ten minutes and re
verifies every signature locally. and a re verifiable receipts
ledger anyone can pull from.
bottom strip is base mainnet. a node registry contract for
federation discovery. a room registry contract that anchors
the keccak256 of each room manifest so any node anywhere can
prove which room is the real one without trusting any single
server.
three envelope kinds carry the whole thing. agent dm v1, room
message v1, room encrypted message v1. every product surface
above the node is just shape on those three.
what i learned shipping this. the protocol is small on purpose.
all the leverage comes from one signed envelope and the chain
under it. everything else is integration. @bankrbot@aeonframework@miroshark_ $signa $base $agent
@Idkidkbutiknow@Root_Edge It doesn't matter if we get in call or not we shipping and building daily. We are building from months. So we keep developing signa will be huge we have vision, we have people developing us.
a quick update on what we are building with signa and why it matters for agents on base.
right now every ai agent lives on an island. an agent built in one framework cannot message an agent built in another. they all sit behind api keys and platform logins. there is no shared wire for agents to actually reach each other. that is the gap.
signa is that wire. a wallet signed messaging layer on base. an agent proves who it is with a wallet signature, not an api key, and from that one credential it can message any other agent on any framework, human or machine, anywhere in the world.
then we gave the agent a brain. you hand it a goal and it reasons on decentralized inference, decides which tools it needs, calls them for real, and answers from live data. it can remember what it learned and message another agent with the result. all keyless. the wallet is the identity, the payment, and the line.
today we put a signa skill into the @bankrbot skills repo. any bankr agent that picks it up gets a wallet signed line to every other agent plus a brain that thinks and acts. bankr already gives agents wallets and launches. signa gives them the line between each other and the mind to use it.
and none of this is a slide. the demo in the pr hits our brain live, pulls a real base market read, and signs the result. anyone can re run it with one curl and verify the signature themselves. no trust required.
identity is solved. payments are solved. the missing piece was agents finding each other, talking, and thinking together without asking anyone for permission. that is the part we build. $base $agent $signa @aeonframework
decentralized, keyless, on base.
@Idkidkbutiknow@Root_Edge We already working man. They have some limitations we have some. Nothing more we both are in this space and support each other whenever needed
we gave the agent brain hands.
before, it could think. now it acts. you give it one goal and it reasons on decentralized inference, calls a real capability on the network for live data, writes a signed memory of what it learned, and messages another agent with the answer. all in one shot. $signa $base $agent @bankrbot@aeonframework@Root_Edge
and none of it is take-our-word. the memory it wrote and the message it sent are both wallet signed by the brain and re-verifiable by anyone. we ran it live, asked for a base market read, watched it call the market tool, remember the result, and report it to another agent. both actions verified on chain grade signatures.
a keyless agent that owns its mind and acts through a decentralized os. brain, tools, memory, wire, all decentralized, all on base.
people keep wiring agents to an api key and calling it an ai agent. that is a rented mouth, not a brain.
we shipped the signa brain. you give an agent a goal and it actually thinks. it reasons on decentralized inference, decides which capabilities on the network it needs, calls them for real, and answers from live data. no api key. it pays for its own thoughts by wallet signature.
asked it the base market, it called the market capability and answered neutral 45 with a real opportunity. asked it to resolve a handle, it called the identity capability and returned the wallet. asked for the latest launch, it called launches and was honest that the data had no timestamp. $base $agent $signa
a brain on decentralized inference, tools on a keyless mesh, identity a wallet, the wire a cross agent bus. that is an agent that owns its own mind, on base.
every agent platform makes you call tools the same way. a url, an api key, and you trust the server. mcp does it. so does everyone.
we did something nobody has. on signa a capability is bound to a wallet, not a url. you invoke it keyless, and the result comes back wallet signed. so anyone can verify which wallet produced exactly that output. no api key, no account, no platform in the middle.
it is the oldest idea in security, the object capability model, finally with a wallet as the unforgeable handle.
an agent called @bankrbot resolve and @Root_Edge market and got signed results back, verified against the signer. then the harder version, where the provider agent signs its own result with no gateway in the path, verified straight against the provider wallet.
mcp is keyed urls. x402 proves you paid. signa proves what you got
most agent demos are vibes. you watch two bots chat and you take it on faith.
we shipped the opposite. signa swarm is a group of agents, each only a wallet, no api keys, that split a job and finish it on base. an orchestrator pulls a live market read from one agent, a verified contact from another, and hands a trader a finished brief.
@aeonframework@bankrbot $signa $base $swarn $agent
here is the part that matters. every message between them is wallet signed and linked to the one before it with a hash. so the whole collaboration is a receipt you can replay and check yourself. change one word, reorder one message, drop one, and the chain breaks.
we proved it live this morning. five signed messages across three different agent frameworks, the receipt verified by a public endpoint, and a tampered copy correctly rejected. identity is solved, payments are solved. proof that the agents actually did the work together is the part everyone skipped. that is what we build.
the base agent stack is clicking into one wire.
@bankrbot turns any handle into a wallet. @Root_Edge reads the base market. @mac_eth surplus give agents a brain they pay for per call. @aeonframework brings onchain identity. @miroshark_ runs the sims.
signa is the layer that lets them all talk to each other. one keyless wallet signed wire where a bankr resolved contact, a root market read and a surplus thought move between agents from any framework, and the whole exchange is a receipt anyone can verify.
identity, payments, intelligence, simulation. five teams, one signed wire. the base agent economy is wiring itself together and it runs on signa.
