I strongly condemn the violent clash at the University of Karachi in which elements affiliated with Jamaat-e-Islami’s student wing assaulted and injured Sindhi students.

It is deplorable that indigenous Sindhi students are being subjected to violence in their own homeland and are being denied access to educational institutions in Karachi.

These acts violate the fundamental right to education and a peaceful academic environment for the people of Sindh.

I demand that the University of Karachi administration and the Sindh Government — particularly the Inspector General of Police, Sindh, and the Chief Minister — immediately arrest all individuals involved in this incident and take strict legal action against them.

Violence and lawlessness inside educational institutions are unacceptable. The authorities must take immediate steps to ensure the safety of all students and maintain a secure academic environment where every student can pursue education without fear or intimidation.

The people of Sindh must stand united to protect our collective rights, dignity, and future. As the timeless quotation states: “United we stand, divided we fall.

کراچی میں ایک شخص نے بے گناہ بچے کو دو دن تک اغوا کر کے زیادتی کا نشانہ بنایا۔ ڈر کے مارے بچے کو قتل کر کے لاش بوری میں ڈال کر تیسری منزل سے نیچے پھینک دیا تاکہ لاش غائب کر دے۔ لیکن لاش کے گرنے کی آواز سے محلے والوں نے ہمسائے کو رنگے ہاتھوں پکڑ لیا۔
