@ChambatiLevison Why in the first place someone disabled has to hustle to earn a living instead the gvt should give them a disability grant and revive the Jairos Jiri institution where there were making furniture and other items for sale to the public
THE EKURHULENI MURDERS: A Tale Of Xenophobia and Misandry
When news started circulating of women being murdered in Ekurhuleni, the number 1 suspescts were foreigners.
In South Africa this is the default, if anything bad happens, fingers always point at the black foreigners. They came here to South Africa to hurt, rob and kill has been ingrained in the South African's mindset.
And these murder wouldn't have happened at a worse time for foreigners than this time, when tensions have been high. With the anti immigration vigilante groups on a massive campaign to kick out every black foreigner.
The usual suspects March and March mafia led by Jacinta Ngobese Zuma were quick on the scene and the usual rhetoric "abahambe abahambe abahambe" ... "these bloody smelly Zimbabweans are killing our women".
Rumors have it, that Zimbabweans in Ekurhuleni had to hide wherever they could because the March and March gang were harassing and beating them for these murders. Yes, when it comes to foreigners, March and March gang are judge and jury.
Online, there was divided opinion, whilst others were blaming the foreigners, another movement was relishing at this opportunity. Talking about the Purple Gang - this is an online feminist movement, that blames men for literally everything bad in South Africa.
Suddenly the timelines were filled with fear mongering, with the usual statements
β’ men are killing us
β’ the world would be better without men
β’ am I next?
Think pieces were written on how black South African men are violent, how they mistreat black women.
Then boom, SAPS got a break in the case, they said they had leads, the two movements were salivating, ready to pounce. But alas, fate had a mind of its own, it was neither the bloody foreigners or the misogynistic South African men.
It was actually the unexpected - South African women. Yes you read that right, 2 South African women and 1 man are the suspects in these murders. And just like that, the case has died, because it doesn't fit the narrative.
For the xenophobic Jacinta, they're no political points to be scored here highlighting that crime has no nationality. And for the men hating Purple nutjobs, they're no social points to be scored here, because women are the perpetrators.
So to those who died, your deaths now mean nothing because they can't be used to gain anything. These 2 mafias have moved on from this, it's a useless case, they want cases that can push their causes.
πΈGood day @nickmangwana,
When we say this Govt is anti-poor, this is exactly what we mean. If this was a functional country, this lady would be in decent retirement, enjoying a decent pension or have access to a social grant.
However, because public money is looted and spent on Gucci shoes, private jets and Rolls Royces, sheβs on the street vending in order to try and make an honest living.
Daily, we see money spent on luxury cars and big cash donations to buy off the support of the rich and influential yet there is no money for the poor, vulnerable and aged.
Your declaration of war on the poor is disgusting and tells us everything we need to know about how selfish, insensitive and cold-hearted you political elites are. Itβs a mess.
Stop attacking the poor.
We need new leaders.πΏπΌ
@ELMayo_1@CrimeWatchZW The roads are all dusty how can be windscreen be clean everywhere u go following another vehicle same time the windscreen gets dirty, inffect how can cars be roadworthy while the roads are not car worth
@peterndoro A disabled arrested for trading in the street to put food on the table, infact the gvt should be taken to court for failing to give grant to such people and old ones
Vendors are only useful to the ruling party when they are campaigning or trying to avoid a protest. I donβt understand why vendors don't learn from the past. When there is peace, ZANU-PF is always trying to remove them from the CBD. Yet, if a protest arises, those same vendors will be out there defending GARWE! π€·π½ββοΈ
