Turning concrete into a climate solution. We harness the power of enhanced weathering to deliver permanent, verifiable and scalable carbon removal and storage.
I have seen with my own eyes all too many war-torn regions: the suffering is simply too much.
It is the duty of each and every state to realise the rights and standards we have set ourselves.
The alternative to international rules is violence and despair.

Let's clear up the confusion around carbon mineralisation in the #carbonremoval space.
It's oftentimes talked about in one or another specific context but actually includes a wide range of activities, helpfully categorised by @WorldResources on the graph below.
It includes mineralisation underground (@CarbFix), mineralising CO2 in products like carbonated concrete (@CarbonCure Technologies) and enhanced rock weathering (@silicate_carbon).
These are very different technologies, but all fall under the broad carbon mineralisation headline.

Dear #Enhancedweathering folks and #CDR people,
watch out for @silicate_carbon. They have a great attitude and draw down #CO2 by applying waste concrete on fields for #ERW. In this company scientists can finally apply their research.

The #Article6.4 Supervisory Body has launched another structured consultation on #carbonremoval activities.
Topics include:
• monitoring and reporting
• addressing reversals
• reversal risk tools: buffer pools, direct credit replacement, insurance/ guarantees
• treatment of uncancelled/unused buffer ERs
And questions range from general to very specific with outlined alternatives.
The consultation is open until 1 August.
This is yet another crucial step in the preparation of the draft "recommendations for activities involving #removals" - the key document to watch out for that will establish the foundation for removals under Article 6.4.
