Hey everyone, we've decided to move away from X and to Bluesky. It's astonishing how terrible X has been for engagement; almost all of our followers are bots or otherwise fake accounts. Migrating to Bluesky will hopefully show better results.

New video out! Today we're taking a look at SSD performance on the Core Ultra 9 285K and how it compares to the Core i9-14900K. Now, you might think performance would be identical... you'll be surprised though.

We planned on getting out power and thermal testing on Arrow Lake versus other CPUs next but we might publish a video about SSD performance next instead. Stay tuned!
Uh oh, I'm getting indications that the 285K is actually much worse than the 14900K in SSD tests... currently testing the CS3150 1TB from PNY in the 14900K test bench and it scores almost a full thousand points higher in 3DMark's storage benchmark. Not good.
So, you may have heard that Arrow Lake's middling gaming performance is down to issues with Windows' CPU scheduler. But is it that simple? We put this theory to the test by running the Core Ultra 9 285K and Core Ultra 5 245K without E-cores.

Our Core Ultra 5 245K review is live, and man this CPU does not impress in gaming. You might be better off buying a Core i5-14600K for a hundred bucks less instead...

Our Intel Core Ultra 285K review is finally up! We got performance data from about a dozen games plus a few other benchmarks. Is the 285K actually a downgrade from the 14900K, or has the 285K's performance (or lack thereof) been overblown?

Finally got the 285K tested and reviewed. Video will go up tomorrow. 245K review I'm hoping will come Tuesday, and after that we should have a pretty steady stream of testing content.
We got Intel's new Core Ultra 200 Series CPUs! But we weren't able to get a motherboard until today, so we're just doing an unboxing video. Reviews out over the weekend.

It hasn't even been a full month since Silicon Insights launched but today we hit 200 subscribers! The channel also hit 10K views today! The level of support we've gotten so far has exceeded all expectations.
Today we're taking a look at AMD's cheapest gaming GPU... which it still hasn't replaced in nearly three years. Is it any good or is it hot garbage? Find out here: https://t.co/8cPEMA7TUH
We missed this yesterday but the channel now has over 100 subscribers! It's a small milestone but we're very happy to have hit it in just half a month. Next stop: 1000.
So I upgraded my CPU to a Core i9-14900K and I also upgraded from the RTX 4090 but I'm still having issues running Fortnite. Anyone have any tips? 3DMark says my performance is "legendary" if that helps.
I am super grateful for all of the amazingly positive comments we've gotten on the latest Silicon Insights video. It really helps offset the terrible autumn allergies I have at the moment.
By the way, new video about the Arrow Lake news from yesterday should be out today.
New video just landed! We tested one of Intel's current-gen dual-core CPUs (yes, they still make them), the Pentium Gold G7400. Do you even need to ask how it performed?

Our FireCuda 530R review just became our first video to hit 1000 views! It's literally our second video since launch, thank you to everyone who watched, shared, and liked it!
By the way, our next video is out at noon EST!
