Michael Phelps was the World Record holder of a single event for 21 years straight.

Bolt's longest is 18 years.

Arbitrarily noting whose WRs still stand fails to account for the fact that Phelps began setting WRs in 2001, while Bolt got his first in 2008.

Phelps set 29 individual WRs across 5 events.

Bolt set 5 individual WRs across 2 events.

Also, none of Phelps' OR Bolt's WRs/PBs were broken at the Enhanced Games. This is irrelevant and misleading.

Hey, you've got some great vids! A couple notes regarding sponsors from my experience:

1.) Sponsors above all look for consistency in video performance. If they're offering X dollars for a given integration, and they see that one video has 139k views but one of your last five has 6k, they're not going to want to take the risk that the one they sponsor performs in the latter range (and unfortunately, your word that "Oh the next one will be a banger!" won't suffice - I say that from experience! 😅) There are CPM-based deals, but again, they're not going to want to risk investing effort brokering the deal and effectively getting nothing out of it. Fortunately, I think you can reliably hit those higher numbers from what I'm seeing. Although it can be more creatively stifling, for sponsorship purposes I would exclusively post your higher quality/longer/better performing video types on this channel, and perhaps create a second channel for the other types of shorter/tips videos.

2.) There are actual agencies that do all the work of finding sponsors/negotiating/etc., but they usually seek creators who are consistently pulling ~80-100k+ per video.

Although it requires some upfront investment (thus is the nature of entrepreneurship I suppose), generally speaking, once you have 4-5 consecutive longform videos with 100k you should start receiving some offers in your email, or at least can get involved with an agency.

Once you actually start getting sponsors there are a host of other things you can do to improve rates (both monetary and the rate of sponsors you get), but this should be a really good first step. Hope this helps!

I STILL don't see any evidence for the existence of 6v6 Singles within it, nor on the website, nor any previous media they've released about the game.

I've been in the online Pokémon space for over 20 years.

Every now and then I reminisce on all the online friends who either one day disappeared or I've otherwise lost contact with.

From discussing FR/LG & Emerald with people on message boards when Pokémon had become 'uncool' at school

To regularly Wi-fi battling with people in Diamond/Pearl back in 2007 when EVs were manually trained & counted with tally marks on paper

To growing up with fellow aspiring creators trying to make it on Youtube from 2008-2018

When I was a young kid I thought the Name Rater's intended purpose was quite literally to rate how good your Pokémon's nicknames were.

Couldn't comprehend why every name got the same rating, nor why he asked if all of them should be changed, nor why he gave no suggestions
