@Strompest @RiotPhroxzon Chapter is part of the problem, but it isn't the only part. It's games being too fast coupled with incredibly short times to punish misplays. Mages get infinite mana with chapter, and with long homeguards this season + TP you can never meaningfully push as an ADC.

@drewlevin My approach the last week or so has been to get past champion select, and if I see the loading screen just clocking at any point, I just task manager - force end the League client and hard restart. It's usually not me, but if it is, that does solve it.

@REDROMINA If it keeps the lights on for creators I enjoy, I don't mind sponsored segments - especially if I can skip over them anyway, which YT premium makes easy.

My only beef is with scummy sponsors, like Honey, BetterHelp, or Kalshi, not the idea of sponsorship in general.

@PlombRouge The splash art is the least problematic part of it. I don't care if they want to monetize part of it, so long as it's sequestered somewhere away from the main UI. I do care that they're locking the classic visuals behind money.
