A 14 year old boy has been charged over a ‘machete fight’ that left four people with stab wounds.

A man and three children were rushed to hospital and four other boys were arrested.

You might think this is just a single incident. From one part of London.

But it's the latest abomination in a wave of knife crime that is far higher than what we were used to 15 years ago.

We now see 50,000 knife crimes a year.

A 50% increase compared with 2010.

Meanwhile, in London specifically, there has been a 72% rise in knife crime since Khan took office.

And yet…

A staggering 70% of convicted knife offenders were spared jail last year.

The Tories and Labour have turned a blind eye to knife crime.

This ends under Reform.

We will toughen sentencing and rapidly expand prisons to ensure those who carry knives are put in jail.

Why is Britain so popular as a destination for bogus 'asylum seekers'?

Because Tory and Labour governments roll out the red carpet and never show anyone the door.

Let's walk through the pros and cons facing a would-be foreign fraudster:

Almost immediately on breaking into Britain, you're rewarded with free food and housing, perhaps even in a luxury hotel.

In Portsmouth you're treated to a police escort.

You apply for asylum, activist lawyers at your side.

You have a 38% chance of being approved on the first decision, and a 64% chance of overturning a rejection on appeal.

After that?

You're on a glide path to Indefinite Leave to Remain in Britain.

You pay no application fee.

You do not have to prove you can speak English.

You do not have to demonstrate any knowledge of British culture.

You can even apply while claiming welfare.

But let's say, somehow, you manage to fail these stages.

That you're so hopeless you can't even sell your sob story to the woke maniacs in the Civil Service.

Only 5% of asylum seekers are ever deported anyway.

What’s more, nearly 1,000 failed
asylum seekers with CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS are living here in taxpayer funded accommodation.

That is not good enough.

If police cannot identify suspected rapists themselves, put the images out and let the public help identify them. That should be an urgent part of the investigation not an appeal two years down the line.

Every day you wait is another day for suspects to disappear or offend again.

And this isn’t happening against some backdrop of rare offending. Rape is being reported in London at the rate of one every hour.

Meanwhile this girl, who was just 13, has spent two years living in fear. Her family says she no longer feels safe being alone.

Two years is far too long. The Met has to be better at this.

Suspected rapists need to be identified and found. When police have exhausted immediate identification routes, get their faces in front of the public quickly.

My other feeling about this case at Manchester crown court ( the rapist is 29 and had been given leave to remain in 2022) is how little publicity it has received.

I am a 27-year-old British bloke who already has Level 1 plumbing and just wants to finish Levels 2 and 3 so I can work the trade and leave my Production Operative role for a real career.

Cost to me: £4,000–£6,000.

The same courses are free if you have refugee status here, free for an asylum seeker who has been here 6 months waiting on a decision, or refused and appealing for 6 months.

Also free immediately for several other statuses and if you are on a low income it seems.
