@Metalpanthers Unless we get a top-10 and trade it for a goalie, he will be back. You have over 2 months to get a deal done, what’s the rush? Sounds like an agent trying to put pressure on
@theblockspot This hits hard. Nothing beats the many nights in the mid-2000s watching YouTube highlight reels of these guys in 480p with bootlegged mp3s in the background
@AGBRSports Top-3 is tough to deal unless it’s for a young superstar goalie (like a Dustin Wolf). Outside of top-3 feels like trade bait, even if just to trade down and get a minor piece. Still, our next 1st would be in 2029 and even then, may not be as high, so possible we just keep it.
@Metalpanthers Doubt we would see it if we didn’t have depth. When you have 9-10 guys who can play top-six minutes, might as well try to find the perfect formula. The top-4 on D is clear, and you’re not going to go L-L/R-R, so aside from flipping Ekblad and Jones there’s not many options.
@ColbyDGuy Feels like there’s an opportunity here for Balinskis to get his shot. Great puck-mover and highly spoken of last year. He should be in the mix for the opening night roster but maybe better suited for PP2 until he gets some NHL experience.
@PTPJacob Would think Balinskis gets a crack at running the PP at some point. Highly spoken of last year and seems like he has a good chance at cracking the opening night roster as things stand now.
@Johnubacon@DaveCoulier@NHL@Johnubacon Just finished “Let Them Lead” and funny enough came across this on my feed. I played for Blummer from 2009-2012 and loved every second. He scored our team tickets to the Big Chill back in 2010 which was a huge factor in me heading to UM for grad school a decade later.
