Sim Heritage

#ENG2GOT Looking forward to this semester :-)

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@Reannan_Purcell It's like reading a book for an essay question, you know what to pay attention to :-)

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@MirjamWeygandt @TravisAndrews95 It was so similar I found it jarring, but I did enjoy Nosferatu is the link to Whedon...sorry
#ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@zachgothiclit I think TB shows vamps in all their colours and accepts them, where Buffy has a sugar-coated film to it. #ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@zachgothiclit I think Buffy showed girls they could be strong and that family matters (blood or created)

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@JesseLMorgan NO. The 'Scooby Gang' was drawn together through friendship, loyalty and family. Scooby Gang exists with or without evil

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@jacqui_garvey @Sjpetzke Absolutely it is due to the patriarchy system and the views and values places upon women #ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

Who is the true villian of Harry Potter? Voldemort or Dumbledore? Theories? #harrypotterquestions

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@MirjamWeygandt In what way?

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

"It's all fun and games until someone gets all bumpy and fangy" - Miriam

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@hylatrobe HUSH! Psychologically terrifying...

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@hylatrobe Once More With Feeling! "I got a feeling...it could be BUNNIES!"

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

Is it just me or does Joss Whedon's company Grr Argh creature look like Nosferatu as he moves from the window at the end?

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

In Nosferatu, are they implying that Nosferatu is the plague and the rats the scapegoat? Appears that way. #ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

Nosferatu looks like a creep running around carrying a coffin! #ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@MirjamWeygandt Because it was written by an English man?

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@gothiclitlily I think it's to make the vampires more appealing to the masses, take Dracula, his 'otherness' is off-putting...

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@elizabeth_sly I think the use of the term 'heroine' would imply that the term is in regards to the feminine only. Just a thought #ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

Quote of the tute: "Danny is to Grease, what Edward is to Twilight" - Me (Re: Vampires as Post-Modern Heroes #ENG2GOT

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@TashEmJay enjoy the cupcakes for me? Hugs and Luvs back xx got my sis to watch tonight :-)

[Sim Heritage @SimHeritage]

@TashEmJay yeah but I'm struggling with my brothers death :-(
