The same writer has elaborated on the workplace situation he faced at Glitch, in particular about Kevin & Luke.
He describes Luke as not antagonistic and fairly passive & Kevin as harsh & dismissive even towards his own brother.

@BarlowSolus Hey Barlow! Didn't realise you had Twitter. As you said in your blog post, the internet moves on very quickly from situations like these, especially when it pertains to the company behind their favourite characters. Granted, I don't exactly want this fandom to make the same-
@Chaotic_Cluster True, the practices in Hollywood have historically been diabolical like that, and with how Glitch allegedly underpays their animators and expects unpaid overtime from them, they're not above taking practices from the wider animation industry they claim they're trying to-
The more I look back at Kevin's statement from 2024 about the Celeste firing the more I want to laugh at how he claimed that he lacked the skill and management in the "early days of Glitch" when a writer experienced complete unprofessionalism from him several months beforehand
Do not harass or threaten Glitch employees or fans. Educating them is the goal, attacking people is unacceptable.
Anyone who posts threats or attempts to dox Kevin or any other Glitch employee or fans will be reported instantly. It goes without saying, do NOT do this.
@Chaotic_Cluster I'm not denying the possibility that there's more that we don't know about due to NDAs. However I don't think you should imply that sa could have happened there with no employee testimony to back it. It's a serious topic to allege with the only evidence being "they signed NDAs".
Another former writer, @/sproutposting, has come out to reaffirm Barlow's statement in a comment on his blog post, and also alleges Kevin was abusive and exploitative and shot down his ideas only to plagiarize them. (1/2)

Thinking about collecting examples of bad quality/damaged merch shipped by Glitch or merch that never arrived. I will add posts to this thread as I find them.
Feel free to add your stories 🧵 #GlitchProductions#TADC
@Amanditas4@jYMylD9Rm84xxCX Yeah, a former SMG4 writer came out about his experience with Glitch last month, and the claims alledged range from incompetency to outright illegal

Just to make sure people know I've done my homework on this, here's an archive of the video in question. This gives us even a slight insight into the inner workings of Glitch, specifically during the production of Meta Runner Season 2

@lumiflavor@QNJazmine I think it also speaks volumes that in a BTS video from 2020, a former art director for Meta Runner stated that Kevin initially wanted to have ten minute episodes with one animator completed in 3-4 weeks. This was changed but the fact that he had that expectation says a lot to me

@1234Testguy@REBELLIOUSEM0@lumiflavor Thing is you can't discredit them outright. Sure, we don't know if it's fully true, but we also don't know if they're entirely false either. You can be skeptical, but I encourage you to keep an open mind about it.
@IceySaur Hey no problem! Idk how new you are to the fandom but this isn't the first time we've gone through something like this. If you have any questions or anything I'm happy to answer if it'll help!
@1234Testguy@shaveddale And an animation studio is a company that produces animation, your point? We could get into semantics all you like but they're still a registered business with a history of incompetent and alledgedly illegal business practices
@IceySaur Hey, take care of yourself. Ik it's a lot right now, but please put yourself first and foremost. It's entirely your choice on what you want to do, and no one should fault you over whether you choose to support them or not. Just take your time and get plenty of rest, okay?
-however I think it's important to keep this, as well as past incidents regarding Glitch in mind and weigh up between the positive and negative in regards to whether you continue to support them.
Colin's experience doesn't come from the "early days". Glitch has been an entity since 2017 and were hiring employees at the time. Glitch's channel was only made separate from SMG4 in 2020. Colin's experience comes from 5-6 years into the company's lifespan and yet the-
I don’t think this needs to be taken as ”Glitch is a horrible corporate entity and we need to take away their platform“ no.
My take away is that Glitch was very much an incompetent company in its earlier days which feels extremely obvious.
-childish way to put it and shows no sense of nuance. However, we can acknowledge that whilst some employees have had a good experience with Glitch, others have felt targeted, gaslit, and bullied by upper management. Do I think change has been made by the company? I'm not sure-
