@D4n1p05qu3m45@queromicafecito@jack_o_Miste It almost like this show trusts it's viewer to understand that it's wrong, and don't have a need to put a giant disclaimer on every morally wrong action.
@Olamilekan4275 I am not sure how it is in LN, but in the anime Rumuru is just too perfect. Even when he does something wrong it's more of "i was wrong by being so kind" type of wrong.
Rimuru works great within his own story, but Rudy is way better as character IMO.
@151515Cz@Olamilekan4275 No, i meant at the moment of S3 episodes, those Rudy and Eris.
If they haven't met Ruijerd back then, then yeah, they would travel way slower and/or not return in one piece. Ruijerd's mentorship was crucial for her improvement.
@anneth_arc If you go into the world that establishes a set of different morals from the very beginning, why are you upset about those morals being consistently different within this world?
@anneth_arc I like how one of the arguments for "no consequences" is cheating on Sylphy. Which begs the question "what consequences are you expecting in the world where polygamy is normal, and his first wife saw it as normal her entire life?"
@QingBZ@magnumm_opus But his schemes is less about him being mature, and more about him trying to "solve this MMO" by finding the best strat.
And his maturity is most noticeable before his 13-15. The age he became shut in. Which also hints at very limited maturity past that age.
@QingBZ@magnumm_opus Anime don't show it very good, but in LN it's pretty obvious that at the beginning it's all a one big RPG with NPCs in it.
I believe he stops treating it that way after one of those kids die after he decides to wait to "farm more heroic points".
@DaWeirdSlimy@saterlla I always try to get something good out of everything i watch/play/etc. That's why i don't like hyping something up. Higher expectations, higher chance of disappointment.
That's why i am afraid to watch cowboy bebop. Not because it's bad, but it's unlikely to live up to it's hype
@migurd_greyrat I mean he is a potential man to an extent. Just with 1 stage of payoff.
1. He have potential but 0 motivation
2. He have potential and motivation (Nina)
3. He still have potential (can become even stronger) but 0 motivation again.
