Appalling videos from Makhachkala, Russia, where an angry mob broke into the airport searching for Israeli citizens on the flight from Tel-Aviv.

This is not an isolated incident in Makhachkala, but rather part of Russia’s widespread culture of hatred toward other nations, which is propagated by state television, pundits, and authorities.

The Russian foreign minister has made a series of antisemitic remarks in the last year. The Russian President also used antisemitic slurs. For Russian propaganda talking heads on official television, hate rhetoric is routine. Even the most recent Middle East escalation prompted antisemitic statements from Russian ideologists.

Russian antisemitism and hatred toward other nations are systemic and deeply rooted. Hatred is what drives aggression and terror. We must all work together to oppose hatred.

I would like to say a big thank you to the people of Lithuania, President @GitanasNauseda and of course my dear friend and colleague @a_anusauskas for their hospitality.
I went up the hill to the Gedimin Tower and gazed at the beautiful city of Vilnius, at free Lithuania, decorated today with the symbolic 33,000 blue and yellow flags and balloons. The message was so clear: Ukraine will become the 33rd member of NATO.
I’m touched and inspired by the energy in the streets of free Vilnius. I’m impressed by how our Lithuanian brothers and sisters support us.
Thank you, Lithuania!
Together, until victory and beyond!

Norėčiau labai padėkoti Lietuvos žmonėms, Prezidentui @GitanasNauseda ir, žinoma, savo brangiam draugui ir kolegai @a_anusauskas , už jų svetingumą.
Užkopiau į Gedimino kalną ir pažvelgiau į gražųjį miestą Vilnių, į laisvą Lietuvą, kurią šiandien puošia simboliniai 33 000 tūkstančiai mėlynai-geltonų vėliavų ir oro balionų. Žinia buvo tokia aiški: Ukraina taps 33-iąja NATO nare.
Mane sujaudino ir įkvėpė energija laisvo Vilniaus gatvėse. Įspūdinga, kaip mus palaiko mūsų broliai ir seserys lietuviai.
