@denisyurchak Would be very curious to see though how strictly/effectively is this enforced across the EU. Do tax authorities proactively share UBO data with other countries?
It’s time for THE charger.
Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging electronic devices in the EU.
It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need.

@nathanbenaich In Belgium, the notary read every line of the mortgage contract already drafted by the bank, and then charged me 10% of the house price for his “legal service”
Batteries are often described as resource-intensive. With a 95% proven recycling rate and a 10yr life, over 50% of battery minerals mined today will still be in use in *130 years*. Add 5% performance improvement per cycle, and they will be delivering services *forever*. Boom! 1/2
This chimes with my experience as a journalist. If you criticise the EU's performance on a specific thing, you are immediately accused of being eurosceptic. It's almost as if people assume the EU's intent and execution are always perfect, and so any criticism is a sinister plot.
@LeBateauRouge @moylato Sounds like you're describing Dilbeek. I seriously considered moving there after having kids for a more suburban, greener and bike-friendly environment, but the lack of commute options other than cars was a deal breaker
