Today, 42 Members of Parliament stood on the right side of history.
In the face of overwhelming numbers, intimidation and political pressure, they remained faithful to their constitutional oath and voted against Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.
Their vote was more than a parliamentary act. It was a declaration that the Constitution belongs to the people and that constitutional change of this magnitude must never be divorced from the sovereign will of citizens.
History teaches us that principle is not measured by numbers. Many of the great democratic struggles of our time began with a principled minority willing to stand firm when it was easier to surrender.
To the 42 Progressive Members of Parliament and all others who voted against CAB3, we express our profound gratitude. Zimbabwe owes you a debt of thanks for defending constitutionalism, democratic accountability and the principle that the people must always remain at the centre of constitutional governance.
The struggle to defend the Constitution continues in the Senate, in the courts and among the citizens of Zimbabwe.
Your courage has inspired a nation.

Sending strength to Bafana Bafana ,no player deserves online abuse for wearing the badge. This is bigger than borders: Africa is one family, one continent, one destiny. Let's rally behind every African team like they're our own, because they are!๐ฟ๐ฆ๐ #OneAfrica
It has been a very difficult week for @BafanaBafana players. The emotional trauma was visible last night when the captain was responding to questions from the media about the online attacks the team has experienced. Itโs good to see @OfficialPSL supporting the team because majority of the players are from the PSL and are expected to continue to contribute to a building strong league after the World Cup. As Africa let us all support @BafanaBafana tonight. Let us continue to rally behind all African teams. To the DR Congo and Ghana congratulations well done. to the teams. #WorldCup2026 #AfricanTeams
STATEMENT
Today I was ejected from Parliament after contributing for just 2 minutes; the rules state that a member is entitled to 20 minutes. I understand why they stopped me; but I remain in absolute and unyielding opposition to CAB3 so help me God. I donโt care whether I am removed from PAC chair or recalled from Parliament all together; I stand for nothing and nothing else but the truth. I will never ever ever betray my conscience and those who elected me. God bless you and goodnight

Youth of 1976, thank you for your courage. Your lives were brutally cut short & would have lived to see a free South Africa 18 years later, you, still young, in your 30s & 40s, able to see a dream realised, hope made real & toil reaped. We will never forget you. Lalani ngoxolo.

Paying someone to stop criticising you is not debt settlement , it's documented corruption. Attaching political silence as a condition to financial payment confirms what critics alleged all along: this government buys loyalty, not accountability.๎๎ป๎๎ป๎น๎
Dear @matinyarare
Since you have courageously admitted your mistakes and publicly apologized to HE President E.D. Mnangagwa, First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, and the First Family, I am announcing a roadmap to settle your claimed debt. I will give you an initial USD $200,000 towards the invoices you claim for services provided to this country.
Cde, please ensure that you do not involve the President and the First Family in personal issues.
Never publicly attack the President, the First Lady, or their children; if you love the father and the mother, you should love their children too.
I look forward to seeing you support the President and the great work he is doing, just as before, towards Vision 2030.

@paultungwarara Your willingness to silence critics through financial settlements reveals not loyalty, but the fragility of the leadership you protect.Legitimate governance welcomes scrutiny, it doesn't buy its absence.'By any means necessary' is not service; it's suppression dressed in devotion.
