I was sad Filler wasn't on the web, so I rebuilt it with javascript/phaser.
Which means it's kind of on mobile again, too?
(the old busted 480x320 version never got updated to 64-bit).
Might play with the PWA apis later and make it "installable."

@trq212 I have pr-status skill that checks to see if CI finished, pulls down any failing checks, and pulls down comments. It’s then easy to follow up and say: “fix a,b, and c. ignore the rest”.
Saves a bunch of time

Still mostly sticking to the basics but daaaaang will I shell out for novel exercise gadgets. Got a loadable mace last month. Ordered like $500 worth of grip strength tools this month (mostly unique grips).
@Shpigford Weight loss + sunshine/stress management + resistance training. Got mine from ~250 to 450 last test.
I did clomid + anastrazole for 3 mos a few years back and got a temporary spike, but it dropped back down as soon as I stopped. Lifestyle stuff is harder but more persistent.
First DIYish 3d printer project. Printed a travel case for aeropress xl filters and thought it would be nice if I could lock the filter cap on top.
Took a few iterations (after the first full cap I just printed the locking mechanism ).
Final version (hopefully) printing now.
@terribledustin@cursor_ai If it bombs on the plan doc I'll reset back and add more to the doc, then let it go again. If it bombs a few times I'll have it split the project into phases and iterate on one phase at a time.
According to twitter:
- Rails is dead, fat and slow
- Next js is the future, fast and efficient
According to my laptop dev env:
- rails api - 255mb ram
- next js frontend - 2.6gb ram
When I use cursor compose or claude code, I spend way less time coding and more time doing code review and QA.
Which... kind of sucks?
More efficient but also less fun. Reminds me of my time as a team lead.
@tylertringas@Calendly Never ascribe to malice what can be explained by incompetence
well, not incompetence so much as: no one wants to work on billing flows, they rarely keep up with product/packaging changes, and it never seems as important as stuff people use every day in the priority list
@levelsio@PascalPixel@daylightco@tldraw I got one. Wanted a bigger kindle I could do crossword puzzles on.
It’s great for home where I can always charge but not a kindle replacement on the go.
I thought I would use it for web based coding outside but the lack of syntax coloring was way more jarring than expected.
@levelsio I think the ATX stuff looks nice in Europe. https://t.co/YNQlcJWkho
Or rogue fm-6 if you want "not black." Planning to get a REP Ares in the US but I don't think they're shipping in Europe yet (still on preorder even in the US)
@blakeir I’m the opposite. If I try to take notes in a a meeting my engagement drops to 0. I can’t take notes and think critically at the same time, they’re different parts of my brain.
