🧑🎓 SKYWALKER is a student team from Aalborg University developing a robotic system that learns to move in microgravity using reinforcement learning. 🤖
🛠️ Their project is a step towards future autonomous robotics in space, aiming for autonomous construction, repair, and disassembly of structures in space. 🦾👩💻
As part of the ESA Academy Experiments Programme, they’ll test their experiment in the Orbital Robotics Lab at ESA ESTEC — a unique facility that simulates space-like conditions. 🛰️
Through this programme, the team is gaining valuable hands-on experience in space robotics, software, and systems engineering — all while chasing their dreams of working in the space sector. 👩🔬💫
