I paid for EAP. EU Summon is already crippled — phone must stay within 6m (vs 65m US) and Bluetooth required.

When the iOS app on top can't confirm I'm touching the car, the feature is dead.

2+ year old bug @Tesla won't fix:

Smart Summon on iPhone says my phone is "more than 6m away" from the car while my hand is on the door handle.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 26.4.2, Tesla app 4.56.5, 2022 M3 LR, EU.

Same story since 2023. Tesla blames Apple. 🧵

Workarounds from other stuck EU owners:

- Open Location tab FIRST, let blue dot lock, then go to Summon
- Force-close the app every single time
- Some keep an OLD iPhone with an OLD Tesla app because the bug isn't there
- Tessie reportedly bypasses it
