@Chris87632 Ya. My timeline has been absolute dogwater ever since supergirl came out and now I never actually get any posts talking about ANYTHING comic related positively. Its just all hate, hate, hate
@Grayson1698@justmark_____ Its twitter. I literally only see hate for the movie on this app. Ill see a negative post of it on tiktok every now and then, but it never has any supporters in the comments. Same goes for pretty much everything dc. Most of the hate is relegated to twitter
@comictrees@vintajean 1. Getting hit by a car doesn't automatically mean you die
2&3. Nobody else was in the building besides the people in the vault
4. Still bad, but not really the point of the discussion here
@CiejebaMaciej@Spider2pointO "I had a much better taste than you when I was a teen" is such a lame and pretentious statement. Your tastes are subjective and for you alone. Don't tell others what they should and shouldn't be watching
@vengeance_darth Why do yall care so much about the number of money made from movies you never helped make? Box office does not equal quality of the product. If that was true, movies like the live action lion king would've flopped, but instead made over 1 billion dollars
@SnyderCastle No. Supergirl failed due to poor marketing. Transformers One was a financial flop, but was genuinely the best Transformers movie to ever be made. Bad movies also make tons of money because they had good marketing behind it (damn near any disney live action remake)
@MoviemagicR This statement is so stupid. Just because you don't like anything dc is currently putting out, doesnt mean anybody who does enjoy are fake fans. There's still plenty to criticize at DC, but overall this is honestly miles better than 5-10 years ago
@ikshvaku_Arya@dontwatchthis__ -Ur right on superhero, but its not a big deal
-viewership one is false and it being terrible is subjective
-you cannot determine the success of something that hasn't even released yet
-ofc dcu has made less money than marvel, we're 1.5 years in compared to Marvel's 18 years
@The4thTurtleNyC I am 24. I have been watching almost every mcu movie in theaters since the first avengers movie. This entire arguement falls apart when you think about that gen z was a big part of what made the mcu so successful
@KelzActually Also, half the dialogue would be lame sex jokes. Superman would also be literally ripping people in half and calling them scum of the earth or some shit. And to top it all off, the US military would end up being the real heroes with 2 minutes of slow mo military recruitment ads
@Pudding_Pocky@QuattroMKII And its problem dc made long before Gunn became a filmmaker. They put out only batman and superman movies and never tried branching out to other heroes before the mcu era
@xavizenberserk Why do some snyder fans only care about how much money their favorite movies made? You didn't play any hand in making them. You just watched the final product and clapped your hands. You guys really think money equals quality when in reality money equals marketing
@benardonhard I ignore twitter criticisms anyway because most of the active accounts here are made up of weirdos on both ends of the argument. Also helps that I rarely engage with post talking about their opinions on a movie.
