@markritson The long and short of it is a very powerful influencer of channel choice. That’s how we work with it. We have a channel plan that reflects the ‘ideal’ mix between brand and retail.
@zoescaman Yes that’s true, LP appears to demonstrate that it can be done (altho I can’t find an independent validation of that membership claim). It would be a fantastic development if creators could be more self sufficient and in control.
@zoescaman That is a very big ‘if’ though. While I think he’s great, i highly doubt that 0.5% pay $60 a year to watch him. Getting your audience to a community platform where you control the algorithm and subsequently your destiny is crucial I agree. But IMO fans disappear when $ required
@sarahspoon Agreed. I also try hard to not criticise work because if you haven’t seen the brief then you don’t know what was asked for. But….surely someone could have made a call on this either client or agency side. #shithouse
@zoescaman I would say that this has absolutely all the characteristics of a fad. Whether it is or not remains to be seen. But it is absolutely the profile of one.
