Friday I was asked to appear on the BBC 'Sunday Live' to discuss proposed gambling increases on operators
Then the BBC inexplicably cancelled the gig
They gave the job to a gambling phsycologist. An expert in behaviours-but not in taxation evidently
Now it transpires the 'reformist' the BBC hired was Matt Zarb Cousin
It is a disgrace that no operator was invited to discuss tax on operators and punters
One can only speculate if Mr Zarb didn't fancy going head to head with me. It wouldn't be a long price- would it? I would have wiped the floor with him
As for the BBC? Well, it's a continuing disgrace. A clear anti gambling agenda
