I had 1 goal in life: to leave a permanent record of me existence on Earth. This was achieved via me 7th-grade interview w/ Holocaust survivors Jack & Bella Bajnon, who were prisoners at Auschwitz.

Hey @bestfriends if you're not too busy "saving them all" could you share this precious soul who is going to be KILLED in your "No Kill" shelter? Thanks so much!

[Moishe's Mom @MoishesMom]

I leave you with Rhubarb, another pup in the endless stream of emaciated pups being dumped, let go in the streets of New York City….There have been at least ten in the past few weeks, starved, so malnourished they can barely walk….in the last two years I have seen so many emaciated pups, waking skeletons….When I first started with the NYC pups in 2016, it was a rarity to see one, and I mean rare…maybe 2 in eight years, but lately it’s almost a daily occurrence. What has happened to us, society, that we allow this to happen, to continue, when I hear that there are free pet food pantries in each of the five Boroughs? Even on Skid Row in Los Angeles you don’t see such starvation.

Yesterday I did a new intake who NYCACC named him Calavera, which means Skeleton in Spanish…he’s pictured to the right of Rhubarb. Why denigrate a dog by naming him that? How disgraceful you are ACC of NYC!

We have lost our moral compass, lost all compassion & empathy if we allow this to continue, to be unfazed at these horrors! The emaciated pups that are originating in NYC who end up in the pound are like the Musselman of concentration camps…that same expression on their faces…the sunken sullen eyes…the gaze that pierces one soul with bold intensity.

This has to stop New York. This really has to stop….

💔🆘OSO IS SUPER URGENT-BEEN AT SHELTER SINCE JULY!💔🆘.
OSO WAS AN OWNER SURRENDER💔💔💔
📍NORTH CENTRAL SHELTER, LOS ANGELES
MALE SHEPHERD MIX, 4 YEARS OLD
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BOY!😍
📝Shelter Notes: OSO has spent months waiting for someone to notice him, and now he is running out of time. Volunteers say he does not seem well socialized with people or other dogs, but he is making progress. Oso likes fetch and squeaky toys, walks easily on leash, and seeks pets and attention when he feels comfortable. He is also housetrained and avoids soiling his kennel. Sadly, much of his brief time outside is spent relieving himself. Oso should not have to lose his life because he is struggling to cope after losing everything familiar. He deserves patience, kindness, and a family who will never give up on him. Please be the reason Oso makes it out alive. Foster or adopt, share his story, or pledge support today. Oso belongs in the arms of somebody who cherishes him, not on a list to be put to death.
**Please contact the shelter directly with any questions or interest in helping. It’s best to visit in person since they rarely answer the phone.

Oh, the shame of it all.

For Mike Rogers to bring into question my commitment to the Constitution is beneath him. It's shameful.

I'm proud to be an American. I'm proud of our Constitution that guarantees all of us the right to pray as we choose to pray.

💔🆘8 YEAR OLD BELLA WAS DUMPED BY HER OWNER AND IS NOW URGENT AT LANCASTER CA SHELTER💔🆘
😭💔💔💔BELLA BREAKS MY HEART💔💔💔😭
SOMEONE PLEASE GO SAVE HER AND SHOW HER LOVE!!!🙏🙏🙏

Bella gave her family 8 years of loyalty and love and this is how they treat her, lying on a cold cement floor suffering from a doggie cold and knowing that her family is not coming back for her. Bella has been at the shelter since September and now her time is up.😭💔
Her deadline date is for today 10/21‼️ Let's rally for this poor girl and get her out of there and into a loving home 🙏
📝Shelter Notes: She was calm and social with other dogs in playgroup. Her owner said she was good with big dog small dogs cats and kids. She’s being treated for an upper respiratory infection, but she isn’t recovering well here. She needs a warm place to rest, continue her medication and have someone paying attention to how she’s doing. We need to get her out so she has that chance.
She did have an altercation with her sister when they first arrived. The siblings have been adopted and now she needs help.
Please don’t assume someone else is coming. If you can adopt Bella, come in. Adoptions in person. If you’re a rescue that can help her, please contact [email protected]

🆘Extremely Urgent in Southern California Adopter or Foster Needed

This is gorgeous , 3 year old, neutered , Saint Bernard named Sebastian .

Sebastian was an indoor/outdoor dog and according to his previous owner is said to be , “Good with adults, is potty trained, and was good with the other large dog in the home . Good with cats.”

He was Not good with children in the house according to the previous owner , and this is why he was surrendered .

He’s located at the very deadly, Apple Valley Animal Shelter, in Apple Valley, CA

Please go and adopt or offer to foster so a rescue can pull him. A rescue can’t pull him without a foster home to take him to.

Please consider out-of-state adoption🇺🇸 it’s possible through a rescue. Adopter pays for transport.

Please share Sebastian. This shelter gets very little foot traffic. The dogs there depend on us on social media to get their faces out there. Thank you 🙏🐾
