@OW_Photography@CasegFraith We descended back into Cwm Lloer from Rhos Bodesi. This little pool is in the stream right by the main CL path, quite low down (not far above the fridd wall) and very obvious. It's just below where Clogwyn Mawr is marked on the OS 1:25000 map.
@FrayneJack34043 Incredible band, who always put on a great show! I managed to get tickets (on the fan pre-sale) to one of the extra gigs they announced, and have since been walking round with the biggest of smiles on my face.
@superfurry Link didn't come through until 10 past, then it blocked me, saying I was using a suspicious IP address or outdated browser. Then it let me in, only to find no tickets were available. Fingers crossed there won't be the same nonsense on Friday
George Smith this afternoon on the FA of My Gull's Mad at Me (7A) in Ogof Aber Geirch, underneath the south side of the Nefyn golf course, north coast of Pen Llŷn. Wild 3d jamming, kneebar rock action!
@KevinASchofield More lies again from Starmer. Governs only according to the wishes of his donors. Disaster at home for the people he's supposed to represent, and supporting a genocide
in Gaza. Sickening.
Stunning performance by @_the_tubs_ in @llangollenfring last night. My new favourite band. Like the poppy end of Husker Du with a touch of Richard Thompson on vocals. Great lyrics, loads of energy, and funny banter from the drummer. Go see 'em!
@dicewright100@ewangibbs Agree about farm workers, but self-employed tradesmen and small business owners are petit bourgeois/lower middle class. Nothing wrong with that, it's just a class description. As for public sector workers - they are too varied to be defined as one class.
@Super_Charles@ewangibbs My dad was a farm labourer. He was working class, but the farmer he worked for (despite working hard and facing financial insecurity) was petit bourgeois/lower middle class. It's not an insult, it's just a fact, that's all.
@AjpOxford@ewangibbs Obviously, running a small business (especially a pub these days) can involve financial insecurity, and you might have grown up working class, but you are petit bourgeois (lower middle class). The people who work for you are working class.
@ThreeShiresHead@ewangibbs Obviously they're not the same as the professional/managerial middle class, but they are petit bourgeois (self employed or small business owners). And yes, I agree that farmers work hard and often have financially precarious lives. Lots of petit bourgeois are in that boat.
