4,886 defilement cases were reported last year. Only 782 ended in convictions.
Meanwhile, about 3,165 cases are still pending in court.
The teenage pregnancy numbers are equally devastating.
We cannot keep treating these numbers as normal!
Our children deserve better. Survivors deserve justice.
This government NEEDS to do better.
