@courtney_herms@PhDVoice I worked in a coffee shop and it was the best thing for my mental health. It forced me to take time away from the PhD, which essentially helped me have better time management and a more refreshed mind when I sat down to write.
For most young people nowadays, the security of a decent, affordable home and a regular wage would effect more alleviation of mental distress than any amount of time off the gram’, meds, or therapy and I think it’s time we just said it as it is.

I'm #PhDone!!! At times this journey was so exhausting and filled with self-doubt that I questioned whether or not I would ever finish.
