The first research paper of the Simoska Lab is published in @nanoscale_rsc! We show the electrodeposition of nanoparticles on an array of ultramicroelectrodes. Congratulations to our awesome PI @oljasimoska, grad student @courtneyjoweber, and undergrad @Strom_Natalie1! ⭐️
Stable reference electrodes for organic solvents—finally.
We report in ACS Electrochemistry development of an Ag/AgCl electrode that’s inexpensive (~$5), fast to make (~20 min), and stable for 21+ days in DMF, ACN, aniline & DMA—no water/O₂ exclusion needed. Work lead by our amazing graduate students @AlexReidellUSC, Christopher LeBarron, and our amazing undergraduate students including Meredith Stewart and Abby Koczaja.
