@marinebharat@kulkarni601 I have changed fuel pipe of my BS3 scooter 4-5 times in last 2 years..
while only 2 times in 7-8 years before that..
Issues are real though..
@Pankajpadekar@abhiandniyu Power Petrol is E20, with 95 Octane Rating
Normal Petrol is E20, with 91 Octane Rating
Only XP100 is available which is E0 and with 100 Octane Rating
@Paritolkks Don't go for used one. Go for smaller but new one.
Old cars in market are most likely pre 2023 cars and not E20 compliant. They will mostly face issues.
So get a small one if needed or avoid buying till we have concrete roadmap on fuel availability .
@BesuraTaansane Let the test data be public.
Myself noticed drop in mileage, vehicle stalling issue.
Have replaced fuel pump twice, fuel line several times in last 2-3 years.
E20 is indeed damaging my BS3 vehicle.
@Polisburo_1st@ANI@sharatchander Not only warranty but the vehicle can run till it's end of life (usually 15 years)
Indian people do not use car only in warranty or extended warranty (3+3)
@Ravisutanjani Why should we pay 60% more on a E0 fuel.
Give E0 at Rs 111/L and make it available at all petrol pumps
And reduce E20 price to below Rs 100.
That's all we want.
@kushgrwl@NishantRArora This situation happening across the country is due to arrival of monsoon leading to ethanol being converted to water and affecting the engine.
@kushgrwl@NishantRArora My vehicle is BS3 standard and requires E0 fuel as per the manual.
Last year, during monsoon it stalled many a times during rains.
Ethanol is hygroscopic in nature.
Have changed fuel pumo twice.
E20 was available last year only in metros. This year it's across India.
@PIB_India@PetroleumMin Why no option for E0 fuel at the same price?
Why E20 is not offered at discount?
Why there is no widespread availability of E0 fuel?
