HEALTH IS SUPERIOR TO HEALING II

It is possible to live sickness-free but this will only happen when believers take full responsibility for their health by utilising the great resource of divine healing responsibly. The same power that heals can support health, much more. You cannot talk about health without talking about taking proper care of your body. The body is the vehicle of kingdom assignment. A living body is the license a believer has to operate in the land of the living. If the body dies, kingdom work on earth stops!
Let’s consider the following points:

- Treat your body well; after all, it is the temple of God. When Paul said,

“But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” (1 Corinthians 9:27, NKJV); he wasn’t advocating for asceticism or body-mutilation: he was admonishing believers to take full advantage of the grace of God in the place of discipline for the effective execution of kingdom business.

- Get enough rest (no matter how anointed you are, your body will break down without rest). There is a difference between work ethic and ‘work hectic’: work ethic brings about productivity without violating health; ‘work hectic’ damns all consequences and violates health in every possible way. It’s okay to have a great work ethic but it near suicidal to work hectic.

- Eat healthy. More than half of all health problems are food-related. (A lot of believers do not watch what they load into their bodies as food, hence, the myriad cases of health breakdowns among God’s elect. It is easy to find out how to eat healthy these days: talk to professional dieticians and health experts. Google also comes in handy.) Examples abound of believers who literally ate their way out of the land of the living.

- Exercise regularly. That bodily exercise profits little does not mean it is not profitable at all!

- Do regular health check-ups. It does not diminish your faith in anyway. It is wisdom.

My God moments in the bathroom. (You may try it)
1. I give thanks. I am big on THANKSGIVING. It is an OPENER. I thank God for the ability to pass wastes by myself, bath by my self, I let Him know it is by His mercy and grace.
2. I sing. I just sing unto the Lord. And sometimes as I do, a new melody drops. The song, THE SON OF GOD IS LIFTED HIGH, was received this way, in the bathroom as I sang unto the Lord.
3. I Prophesy. I’m quite prophetic. So anything can be prophetic to me. As the shower comes on me, I make it into a prayer. Torrents of favour and grace falls on me. Fresh anointing, insight, revelation, wisdom from above, joy like a river floods my life. Etc.
4. I think deeply. Over a scripture, an idea or event prior to that time. And from time to time, I get a revelation or understanding of something important.
5. The bathroom floor is wet and my wife comes to yabb me after my bathroom revival services 😂😂😂. Happy Weekend Saints. YOU ARE BLESSED.
