Vanderbilt Master of Genetic Counseling Program has received accreditation! Amazing work to @MarthaDudek for leading the charge and to our amazing team of GCs who invested their time! ❤️🧬@VUMCgenetics #GCchat#IAmAGeneticCounselor
Per abstract:17 GCs reported spending approximately 20% of their time face-to-face w/ pts, 64% on case prep, follow-up+administrative tasks & 16% on tasks unrelated to direct pt care.
Administrative complexity=source of wasted healthcare resources. GCs time can be better spent!
