@FedExHelp your driver made zero attempt to deliver today. Just drove past my house, took a photo of my driveway, and left.
I’ve been on the phone with customer service for 40 minutes. NO HELP.
Was supposed to leave DFW last night. Half the plane boarded, flight got cancelled. Was not permitted to get my checked bag back. Went to hotel with backpack, pelican of equipment and clothes on my back.
Rebooked for 8:45pm tonight. Which is now delayed.
@IndyCarChick It’s an option maybe, I’m not sure if someone that’s not me is able to pick it up. American seems to think they can reroute it to Orlando… who knows 🤷♂️
Looked for flights in Houston, Love, San Antonio, OKC, and Austin. All sold out. Looked for a car to drive to Indy, all sold out.
Have to go to Sebring Wednesday. Was looking at flying direct to Orlando tomorrow. My checked bag is in Indianapolis.
Overheard in the media center today from NASCAR content folks during the INDYCAR race…
“There’s more passing at an NHRA event.”
“This race has been boring and tedious.”
I’m confident none of these people watched a single lap because that was a f****** show. #INDYCAR
@EvanBoudreau7 Unfortunately it was real. But again, they were working and I’m confident not actually watching the race. My point in sharing this was to highlight it’s ok to appreciate great racing, even if it’s a series you don’t work for/in.
@LazyUmpire It’s not a contest. My point in saying this, which I should have clarified, is that it’s ok to appreciate another form of motorsport that you don’t work in directly.
I don’t know why we all have to speak negatively against other forms, when great racing is just that… great
