This is unfortunate. Lately I've been thinking a lot about "untrusted clients": that's the model for the World Wide Web: Not only do you not know what code users are running, you have no real expectation that you can. And the #metaverse, if it's to exist, has to support this.

@unrealengine#ue5 has a Georeferencing feature which lets you locate your engine coords on Earth's surface. @simul#trueSKY supports this, but matching the two was tricky. I added a "World View" panel to Unreal Editor, which shows the UE origin and trueSKY's reference frame.
