분명한 사실 입니다.

그런데 못그려도 괜찮아. 라고 성장을 포기해 버리는건 곤란 합니다.

그림을 잘 못그리는게 만화가에게 결코 자랑은 아니라는 걸 명심하세요.

만화는 스토리를 그림으로 전달하는 매체 입니다.

끊임 없는 스퀴징, 모노즈쿠리로 오늘의 나를 뛰어 넘겠다는 프로의 자세가 없으면 결코 더 넓은 시장에서 통하는 IP가 될 작품을 만들 수는 없을 것 입니다.

저도 그림은 잘 못그립니다.

하지만 적어도, 프로 만화가라면, 작화가라면, 스토리 작가인 저보다는 연출, 콘티, 작화가 좋아야함은 당연하고, 그걸 목표로 하지 않으면 안되지 않겠습니까?

특히 만화가를 꿈꾸는 신인 작가 지망생 여러분께 진심으로 조언 합니다.

못그려도 괜찮아. 라는 이상한 논리에 절대 넘어가지 않으시기를 진심으��� 충언합니다. 만화의 성공에는 그림보다 중요한 것이 분명��� 있습니다. 하지만 그림도 더욱 잘 그릴 수록 좋습니다.

당신이 못 그려도 괜찮은 사람들은 전부 다른 이유가 있는 겁니다.

아니면 자기가 엄청 못그리고 더 좋아질 생각이 없던가.

작가 라면, 작가 지망생이라면 못그리는 걸 당연시 하지말고 더 부끄러워 하세요. 그리고 선 하나라도 더 나아지도록 오늘도 정진 해 주세요.

30년 만화 밥 먹은 저도 부끄러운 오늘의 결과물을 양분삼아 내일은 조금이라도 더 좋은 스토리 콘티와, 컨셉 이미지를 파트너와 편집부에 제공하기 위해 밤새 공부합니다.
