@MarkAmesExiled Tooting your own horn because you found an article that reports on the speculation which informed your own speculation but hasn't actually been proven...
@agurevich23 Alex, are you arguing against a straw man here? Because the position from Anthropic doesn't actually seem to be "conduct warfare without autonomous weapons" at all...

@Greenbackd Relative valuations are poor yardstick to claim discounts. Were at low absolute levels in 2003 (13), 2008 (11), 2020 (14).
Multiples for R2000 or smallest 20% of S&P500 are at all time highs.
R2000 @ 19 today from 2022 low of 11.

@ignore89039500 Oh. I don't really think it was a pump, just the more usual combination of incompetence and ignorance.

@ignore89039500 I mean, kudos to you for seeing it, but to the computer nerds it was pretty obvious it was never going to work.
None of the major cryptocurrency exchanges use blockchain as their underlying platform, why the ASX thought it made sense for them is beyond understanding.
@RenMacLLC S&P 500 equal weight is hardly the "average stock" though....
Value Line Geometric would be a better indicator of the average stock, wouldn't you say?
@pineconemacro At first glance they don't look like very impressive forecasts, but looking closer, seems like they all did a reasonable job of looking ahead at the next few prints (in all cases of upside, downside and volatility), don't you think?
Probably better than economist forecasts!
@SouthSideShelby@jam_croissant Like I said, I've been following Cem for a long time now, this is pretty much the only thing he talks about that doesn't make sense to me. I'd love to hear the mechanics of what he says described in deep detail.
