There has been no uniformity among medical Colleges regarding same issue..while some medical colleges have issued relieving order,some institutions are waiting for official order from Govt of Karnataka.Who is to take responsibility for all these !!

Gun shot wounds, and battle scars are common in our soldiers at risky areas. Similarly, covid infections too are highest amongst Health care workers and doctors. Having been a doctor, first sign for spike in cases is picked up by number of colleagues turning positive!

They will again get back to covid works in full flow keeping aside their clinical skill learning opportunities in their respective specialities. They continue to pay tution fee even if there aren't learning, they continue to stand and work at risk.

Covid and impacts (lockdowns, curfew, infections, loss of lives)of course has affected lives everywhere. Major hit are the daily wage workers, businessmen and so on in terms of monetory loss. But when it comes to 'loss of skill' highest hit still continue to be resident doctors!

A college like Bangalore medical college opened its trauma block for non covid just days ago, which was taken up for covid one and half years ago.
But again either this block or other blocks are gonna be taken for covid for the third wave.The same story in every medical college.
