@jen_tcg This of course is a dated example from Yu-Gi-Oh's past, but my point is being able to perform a cost and just doing nothing with it shatters a lot of pre-existing card design.
@jen_tcg Here's the real reason this shouldn't be allowed. Cards have costs, example: "Genex Undine".
This card sends ANY water to GY as cost to search "Genex Controller". This was a strong effect, and being able "fail to find" would make it better than intended. 1/2
@RedMage4evah It feels really bad because there are several spaces for GUARANTEED royals on the board and 9/10 times you're goin right past them.
But man that 1/10 feels neat
