Soprano Lara Maigue is set to be the surprise performer for the National Anthem during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s second State of the Nation Address, confirmed by a House of Representatives official in a DWPM Radyo 630 interview.

House Secretary-General Reginald Velasco revealed that Maigue, a classically trained soprano, is well-known for her exceptional vocal talents, with one of her performances gaining 21 million views on Instagram.

"Ang balita namin there will be a singer ng Pambansang Awit natin. Ang pangalan niya ay Lara Maigue. Tinignan namin yun sa YouTube. Very famous pala siya," Velasco said.
