At the request of the people harmed by it, I’ve been asked to hold off on making the video that I mentioned earlier this week/weekend, because if I get into the level of specificity that I want to get into, the people involved will have their personal lives dredged by the organization I want to discuss.

However, I will say this.

From what I can see after nearly 2 years of investigative work, @WatchGirlsPlay has been breaking labor laws left and right regarding:

- fraudulent attempts at non-compete agreements that they’ve tried to (again, fraudulently) enforce due to the laws in the state in which they reside rendering it as such.
- has attempted to circumvent employer laws by remarking the talent working for them as “sub contractors” even though they ONLY work for GPTV, have a set schedule, and are paid a “salary”.
- This circumvention amounts to an absurd amount of owed social security and payroll taxes that otherwise would need to be paid due to the women being “employees” and not “contractors”, not to mention liability that employers must account for.
- require certain levels of performance of people working for them for fear of them being released or having their pay reduced without any prior notification
- are lured into performing certain duties or actions pertaining to their job under false pretenses of bonused income only to be met with excuses as to why that bonused income could no longer be paid (usually due to a found “fault” after the fact, even though performance criteria was met)

This is in addition to discussions that I’ve transcribed where people were publicly fired in front of their peers in group meetings, false promises made and then reneged once something didn’t go the ownership’s way, the ownership seeking out supporters of content creators that USED TO work for GPTV if only to spread negative rumors/information to attempt to dissuade the supporters from continuing to support the creator after they left, the ownership using language such as “you’re causing us pain”, “you are hurting the girls”, “we aren’t sure if we can trust you after you’ve hurt us”, etc.

The ownership of the GirlsPlay organization are predators. They have exploited talented women working for them for YEARS.

I’m providing the receipts I have gathered to the Oregon Labor Bureau and I’ll let them and the ownership of GPTV sort it out.

I feel bad for anyone that this may harm, except for Alex, the owner.
