Anthropic is putting $150M behind Claude Corps — but the fine print matters more than the headline.

Yes, it's $85,000 salary + full benefits, 12 months, no degree or AI background required — just 18+ and under two years of full-time work experience.

But here's what the screenshot leaves out:

— Your employer isn't Anthropic — it's CodePath, a national nonprofit. Anthropic funds and trains you; CodePath handles payroll, W-2s, and HR.

— The first cohort is only 100 people (starting October 2026), not all 1,000 at once. The remaining 900 spots come in two later cohorts (January and August 2027).

— Application deadline is July 17, 2026, 11:59pm PT.

— There's no automatic job offer at the end — just the option, if the host org wants to hire you.

— You have to complete two short training modules (AI Fluency + Claude 101) and submit proof of completion with your application.
