@danmastrow It also helps to get you to focus on a single specific feature or system and reach a point where you can present it to someone else as soon as possible.
Otherwise, you get distracted by unrelated things along the way and progress stalls.
I started developing an Open World Survival Craft game and am making a devlog as I go along on itch (link in reply). I am so far good at making progress almost every day, and hope to keep it up.
