@socialistadri While I am all for dumping Schumer and Jeffries, the way she is going about it just sounds like she thinks those two did a bad job selling the Dem platform. She says be clear on what you stand for, and doesnt mention what to stand for. Im not getting any hopes from her
@LeftyWinter I welcome this initiative. Let this group make a list of policy goals and say they represent the centrists, then directly compare to DSA priorities. See who the centrists actually prefer
@Acyn Hes doing this right now with capitalism. He claimed we would be tired of winning. Everything would be affordable. He won the popular vote! Then when the people saw his version of capitalism didnt deliver, his approval sank. Hes another conman saying theres no better way
@Tom_Suozzi Why not make yourself a policy platform of what this Promise to America stands for and compare it to what the extremist socialists demand, and let the centrists you so dearly represent decide what they like more?
@MichaelLangeNYC So many democrat leaders arent seen celebrating things because they usually end up being half measures or not really good at all. Zohran worked for the people and got real impactful victories, so he share in the joy of the achievement.
@Tom_Suozzi DSA wants universal healthcare while the main Democratic party platform does not. Please explain why universal healthcare is political extremism.
@washingtonpost Hah yeah, give voters something to directly compare, that will work
"We 13 are pushing back against these DSA extremist policies!"
"DSA wants universal healthcare, what do you 13 centrist want?"
"We want to give insurance companies more of your money for worse coverage!"
