Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah @PNMbah Declares WAR on Opposition in Enugu State and the Entire Nation Must End This Madness Immediately ❗️
Tinubu @officialABAT call you clowns 🤡 to order and do Not Burn this country in Desperation to hold on to power without the people❗️
Why kill my people?
Why must you shed blood?
Why are you afraid of free and fair election?
People are in pains
Family are crying, mourning
Why!!!
Why!!!
Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa will lead Enugu come 2027.
Ndi Enugu who understand how terrible Peter Mbah’s administration has been need to speak up. We know Enugu beyond what paid influencers post on social media. We feel the pain of Mbah’s excessive taxation and the hardship his policies have imposed on the people.
Imagine a government taxing people to the point where even dead bodies in mortuaries are being taxed.
How much more can the people take?
Enugu deserves better than social media PR. We need people who understand and live the realities on the ground, people who feel the pain in Enugu and are ready to demand for change.
Let’s support @SirChinyeaka.
Vote NDC!
Kick APC out of Enugu.
MEET SIR CHINYЕAKA OHAA (ODALIJE)
My Dear People of Enugu State,
There are times when we need to pause and ask ourselves a simple question: Who are the people presenting themselves to lead us, and what have they done before asking for our trust?
Today, I want to introduce you to one of those men.
His name is Sir Chinyeaka Christian Ohaa, popularly known as Odalije, the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Enugu State.
For many people, politics begins when an election is approaching. But for Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, his story of service started many years before this political journey.
He is a man who has spent a significant part of his career in public service, rising through the system and taking on responsibilities at both the state and federal levels.
He served as the Accountant-General of Enugu State, where he was entrusted with responsibilities relating to the financial administration of the state.
From there, his career took him to the federal level, where he served in various capacities and eventually became a Federal Permanent Secretary.
As a Permanent Secretary, he served in different federal ministries, including Defence, Water Resources, the Federal Capital Territory, Power, and Youth and Sports.
These are not positions that come without responsibility.
They require experience in administration, policy implementation, budgeting, management and coordination of government institutions.
His experience also extended to the education sector. In 2024, he became the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), where he participated in the governance and administration of the institution.
And beyond government offices, there is also another side to Odalije that is important which is his connection with people and communities.
Those who have followed his activities over the years have seen his involvement in community interventions and support for people in need.
Now, after decades of public service, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa has chosen to step into another form of service seeking to lead Enugu State.
That is why, when we talk about Odalije, the conversation should not start and end with politics.
It should also be about his background, experience, public service record and the ideas he is bringing to the table.
Of course, no candidate should be judged simply by titles held in the past. The people of Enugu deserve to listen to every candidate, examine their records, understand their plans and make their own informed choice.
But if you are asking, “Who is Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa?”
This is the man.
A former Accountant-General of Enugu State.
A former Federal Permanent Secretary.
A former Pro-Chancellor of ESUT.
A public servant with decades of administrative experience.
And today, the NDC governorship candidate for Enugu State.
He is popularly known as Odalije.
And as the political season unfolds, Ndi Enugu will have the opportunity to hear directly from him about the kind of Enugu he hopes to build and the plans he has for the people.
This is the story of Sir Chinyeaka Oha
ATTACK ON NDC MEMBERS IN MY HOMETOWN: I WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY POLITICAL VIOLENCE
I am deeply saddened and profoundly disturbed by the violent attack reportedly carried out against members and supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) during our ward meeting at Ihuani Awkunanaw, Obuofia, in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, on Saturday.
This is not just another political incident to me.
This happened in my hometown. It happened in a community that I call home, among people I know, people I grew up around, and people with whom I share the same soil, history and heritage.
That makes this attack particularly painful.
Our members had gathered peacefully to participate in a legitimate political meeting and exercise their constitutional right to assemble and associate freely. Instead, according to reports from the party and eyewitness accounts, the meeting was violently disrupted and gunshots were fired at our members.
Eight of our members have reportedly sustained gunshot injuries, while canopies, chairs and other party materials were also vandalised and destroyed.
I strongly condemn this act of violence in the clearest possible terms.
Politics must never become a licence to shed blood. Political disagreement must never become a justification for shooting at fellow citizens. And no ambition for political power is worth the life of a single Enugu citizen.
I therefore call on the Enugu State Police Command, the Department of State Services and all relevant security agencies to conduct a thorough, impartial and transparent investigation into this incident.
Those responsible must be identified and brought to justice, regardless of their political affiliation, influence or connections.
I also call on the security agencies to investigate reports of similar disruptions of political gatherings in other parts of Nkanu West and ensure that no political party or group is allowed to use violence to suppress the legitimate participation of citizens in the democratic process.
Let me make this clear: the NDC will not be intimidated.
We will not respond to violence with violence.
We will not allow the actions of a few individuals to drag our state into a cycle of political bloodshed.
Our campaign will remain peaceful, issue-based and focused on the future of Enugu State. We are seeking the mandate of the people through persuasion, ideas and service not through intimidation, threats or violence.
To the victims of Saturday's attack and their families, I want you to know that you are not alone. The entire NDC family stands with you, and we will continue to demand justice for everyone affected.
To the good people of my hometown and Nkanu West, I urge you not to lose faith in democracy because of this incident. Our communities belong to all of us not to political thugs, not to violent groups and not to anyone who believes that the gun should decide who participates in politics.
The people of Enugu deserve better.
They deserve a political environment where a father can attend a ward meeting without fearing for his life, where young people can participate in politics without being attacked, and where political competition is settled by votes and ideas rather than bullets.
As the NDC Governorship Candidate for Enugu State, I remain committed to building an Enugu where peace, justice, security and democratic participation are protected for everyone.
What happened in my hometown on Saturday must not be normalised.
Enough of political violence.
Enough of intimidation.
Enough of using violence to silence citizens.
We must choose a different path for Enugu.
And together, we will.
Sir Christian Chinyeaka Ohaa
NDC Governorship Candidate, Enugu State
On Thursday, I visited Parklane Hospital in Enugu as part of my continued engagement with the realities facing our people.
What I encountered was deeply concerning.
During my visit, I was informed that doctors were on strike. For me, this was not just another piece of information it was a painful reminder of the challenges within our healthcare system and the consequences when those entrusted with saving lives are unable to carry out their duties.
Healthcare workers deserve to work in an environment where they are respected, properly motivated and adequately equipped. Our people, on the other hand, deserve to walk into a hospital and receive timely and quality medical attention without uncertainty.
A government that truly cares must listen to both sides: the healthcare professionals who keep the system running and the ordinary citizens whose lives depend on that system.
My visit to Parklane strengthened my resolve that healthcare must be treated as a priority, not an afterthought.
As I seek to lead Enugu, my commitment is to build a system where our hospitals work, our medical professionals are valued, and our people can access quality healthcare when they need it most.
I will continue to listen. I will continue to engage. And I will continue to speak for an Enugu where government is not distant from the people, but present in their everyday realities.
Enugu deserves better. Our people deserve better. And together, we can build an Enugu that works.

My loyalty to Peter Obi is NOT transferable.
I will vote and mobilize for other candidates in the NDC, like @SirChinyeaka for Governor of Enugu State, @JNwokeabia_ for Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency, and @GRVlagos for Governor of Lagos State under ADC etc.
If you think I will abandon GRV and in Lagos and vote Doherty because of this
“top to bottom” bullshit, then you no really well.
We have tried top to bottom. It didn’t work!
How many of those mofos we elected under the LP came to court to stand with Peter Obi during the PEPT?
How many of them fought for him?
Almost all of them moved to APC.
Then, when they were denied tickets,
they came crawling back to Peter Obi and are now trying to use you people again.
Miss me with that!
My support is for competent, credible people who deserve it. It is not a blank cheque for any political party.
For Lagos, Na GRV I know.
Vote GRV for Governor Lagos State.
Yesterday, I led a delegation of NDC candidates and stakeholders from Enugu State on a courtesy visit to H.E. Henry Seriake Dickson, former Governor of Bayelsa State and a respected leader of our great party.
The engagement provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and reaffirm our shared commitment to building a stronger, united and purpose-driven NDC.
At this critical moment, our greatest strength must be our unity. While we may have different aspirations and perspectives, we must never lose sight of the bigger picture — building a party that is strong, organised and capable of winning elections and delivering meaningful change to our people.
I remain committed to reconciliation, consultation and constructive engagement among our stakeholders at all levels. The time for internal disagreements and bickering must give way to dialogue, understanding and collective purpose.
I encourage all our candidates, aspirants, leaders and supporters across Enugu State to continue working together. Those who emerged as candidates must carry everyone along, while those who did not emerge must continue to see themselves as an important part of the same family.
If it is not your turn today, it may be your turn tomorrow.
The NDC belongs to all of us. Its strength and survival depend on our willingness to place the collective interest above personal ambition.
Together, we can build a stronger NDC, deepen reconciliation and prepare ourselves for the task ahead.
The time for reconciliation is now.
The time for unity is now.
The time to work together is now.

WHEN LEADERSHIP HONOURS CULTURE
My visit to Aninri for the New Yam Festival (Iri-Ji) was more than a political engagement; it was a celebration of our identity, heritage and the enduring strength of our traditional institutions.
Alongside the NDC Enugu West Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Uche Kingsley Eneh, other candidates and party leaders, I had the honour of paying homage to HRH Igwe Nnajiofor Benedict Eze, JP, Eze Agboh VI and Ezeoha Ndeaboh Ancient Kingdom, and later HRH Igwe Edwin Ifesinachi Onuoha, Eze Echara II of Echara Kingdom.
I deeply appreciate the warm reception, prayers and wisdom shared by our traditional rulers and the people of Aninri.
The New Yam Festival reminds us that development must never come at the expense of our identity. We can build a modern and prosperous Enugu while preserving the traditions, institutions and values that define us.
As I reflected at the palace on Proverbs 29:2 — “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice” I was reminded of the responsibility that comes with leadership.
Leadership must listen. Leadership must respect. Leadership must serve.
I remain committed to a vision of an Enugu where development reaches every community, our people live with dignity, and our rich cultural heritage is protected for generations to come.
Our culture is our identity. Our people are our strength. Our future must be built together.
Thank you, Aninri, for the warmth and hospitality.
May this year's Iri-Ji bring peace, prosperity and abundance to every family.

A Sacred Moment of Heritage, Trust and Leadership
Yesterday, I had the profound honour of receiving the sacred Ofo from the people of Awkunanaw Clan at Ani Awkunanaw, Obuoffia.
Representatives and traditional custodians from the eight communities of Awkunanaw Obuoffia, Akegbe-Ugwu, Amechi, Amodu, Umueze, Obeagu, Akwuke and Ugwuaji gathered in a solemn ceremony rooted in our ancestral heritage and traditions.
The Ofo is more than a symbol. In our Igbo tradition, it represents truth, justice, authority, responsibility and a covenant to serve the people.
Receiving it was therefore not something I took lightly. I received it with humility and a deep sense of responsibility. It is a reminder that leadership is not about personal ambition; it is about service, sacrifice, protection of the people and the preservation of our values.
I am deeply grateful to the elders, traditional custodians, leaders, sons and daughters of Awkunanaw for this profound gesture of trust and goodwill.
As we look toward 2027, I remain committed to a vision of an Enugu State where leadership is people-centred, development is inclusive, and every community has a voice and a stake in our collective progress.
Yesterday was more than a ceremony. It was a moment of heritage, memory and renewed commitment to the people.
I carry the Ofo with humility.
I carry the trust with responsibility.
And I carry the hopes of our people with unwavering determination.
Awkunanaw has spoken. I have heard. And I am ready to serve.

Today, I had the honour of meeting with members of the Enugu East Senatorial Zone of our great party, the NDC, in my capacity as the NDC Governorship Candidate for Enugu State.
It was an important opportunity to formally address our party members for the first time and to reaffirm my commitment to the responsibility before us. I spoke openly about my vision, my readiness, and, most importantly, my conviction that Enugu State deserves leadership built on competence, courage, integrity, and genuine service.
I also addressed the rumours and insinuations that I am a surrogate or candidate for another person. Let me state this clearly: I, Chinyeaka Ohaa, am nobody’s surrogate. I can never and will never be a surrogate for anyone. I am in this race because I believe I am qualified for the job, prepared for the responsibility, and capable of providing the purposeful leadership that Enugu State deserves.
Leadership is not about occupying a position on behalf of someone else. It is about having the courage to stand on your own convictions, the competence to understand the challenges before you, and the character to serve the people with accountability.
I was accompanied by our Enugu East Senatorial Candidate, Princess Ada Ogbu, alongside our House of Assembly and House of Representatives candidates, party leaders, stakeholders, and other dedicated members of our great party.
The message is clear: we are building a movement anchored on competence, service, unity, and a new direction for Enugu State.
I am ready for the responsibility.
I am qualified for the job.
And I am committed to serving the people of Enugu State.

Building Institutions That Will Serve Generations
On Sunday, I had the privilege of joining the Anglican Diocese of Oji River at the First Session of the 10th Synod of the Diocese, held at the Basilica of Christ, Isikwe-Achi.
The Synod, held under the theme “Let Us Rise and Build” (Nehemiah 2:18), was a powerful reminder that meaningful development is not only about what we achieve today, but also about the institutions and opportunities we leave behind for generations to come.
I was particularly inspired by the Diocese’s vision to establish the Oji River Mission Specialist Hospital cum University a laudable project with the potential to transform healthcare, education, research, innovation and economic opportunities in Oji River and beyond.
In support of this vision, I made a personal donation of ₦10 million towards the project. I believe that projects of this magnitude require collective commitment, and I am proud to contribute my quota to an initiative that will positively impact generations yet unborn.
I also reaffirmed that, if entrusted with the mandate to govern Enugu State, my administration will support initiatives that strengthen our institutions and expand access to quality education, healthcare, research and opportunities for our young people.
I commend the Anglican Diocese of Oji River for its commitment to service, community development, education and healthcare.
We must rise and build not merely for ourselves, but for those who will come after us.
Together, we can build institutions that serve generations.
— Sir Chinyaka Oha
Over the weekend, I visited St. Joseph Catholic Church, Inyi-Affa, along with other NDC candidates and party officials, to sympathize with the church community following the unfortunate kidnapping incident involving members of their community.
We thank God for the safe release of all the victims and pray for their continued healing and recovery from the experience.
The visit was an opportunity to stand with the people, share in their concerns, and reassure them that they are not alone in difficult moments.
I remain committed to listening to our people, standing with them in times of need, and working toward a safer, more peaceful, and secure Enugu State.
May God continue to protect our communities and grant every family peace, safety, and hope.
Together, we can build an Enugu where everyone can live, worship, work, and prosper without fear.
